📰 Weekly Collectible News

Punks Hit $6M, Curry’s 1/1 Surfaces, and the Fanable Streak Continues — This Week Was One for the Books.

📰 Weekly Collectible News – April 13, 2025

Every week, we bring you the latest drops, headline sales, and big moves shaking up the collectible world—from physical grails to digital heat. Whether you're here for the cardboard, the slab, or the shiny JPGs, we’ve got you covered.

This week was stacked with sold-out launches, 1/1 discoveries, multi-million-dollar NFT moves, and important updates from grading giants. Let’s dive into what had collectors buzzing this week 👇

🧢 Fanable's Drop Sells Out in Minutes for Second Consecutive Week

Fanable is on fire 🔥 — their latest drop sold out in minutes for the second week in a row, proving that demand is only getting hotter.

This week’s “Clash of the Titans” release featured graded comic book cases with heavy hitters from both Marvel and DC, including epic matchups like Batman vs. Captain America and rare pulls like Amalgam Universe crossovers. Each mystery case contained one CGC-graded comic, with some featuring original VeVe covers signed by legends like Frank Miller, David Yu, and Dan Crothers.

With only 100 mystery cases available and an instant buyback at 90% FMV, collectors didn’t hesitate. This fast-paced sellout continues to show that Fanable’s model—combining digital mechanics with physical grails—is resonating hard with collectors.

Expect demand to only grow from here. 👀

🏀 Steph Curry’s 2024 Olympics 1/1 Auto Finally Surfaces

🚨 Just in: The elusive 2024 Topps Now Olympics Steph Curry 1/1 autographed card has finally surfaced.

Collector Trevor O’Loughlin, a longtime Curry fan, received the redemption unexpectedly after initially receiving his base cards weeks earlier. The card commemorates Curry's first Olympic gold medal and is considered one of the most coveted pulls from the 2024 Topps Now Olympic set.

The card's emergence has reignited discussions about the highly anticipated 1/1 triple autograph card featuring Curry, LeBron James, and Kevin Durant. Collectors are on the edge of their seats.

📦 CCG Issues Guidance on International Submissions and Tariffs

The Certified Collectibles Group (CCG) has issued updated guidance in light of increased tariffs on US imports. Good news for global collectors—international submissions to CCG should not incur tariffs when processed through official international locations.

CCG recommends submitters outside the US send items to one of their global hubs in London, Munich, Hong Kong, Shanghai, or soon, Dubai. These locations offer white-glove service, including shipping, insurance, customs clearance, and tariff-free processing.

Collectors submitting directly to CCG in the US must use a Temporary Importation under Bond (TIB) and declare themselves as the importer of record. Failure to follow this process may result in fees, customs holds, or outright rejection by CCG.
